Salary Range: Per the Teacher Salary Schedule
Start Date: March 5th, 2021 to May 31st, 2021
Student Level: Elementary
This is a Long-term Substitute teaching position. Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.
Education and /or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minnesota Teaching License.
MN Teaching License K-6 or 1-6 Elementary Education required.
WORK DAY/YEAR: Full-time, 1.0 Long Term Substitute (LTS) Grade 5 Teacher position;
available on or about March 5th, 2021.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This assignment will include providing instruction virtually (distance learning).
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
- Current Minnesota teaching license required.
- Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
- Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs.
