Bus

At Ada-Borup-West, student safety is always a top priority—both inside the building and on the way to and from school. Over the past two weeks, our students had the opportunity to participate in two important safety lessons.

Bus Safety with Mr. Roux
Last week, Mr. Roux led our students through a hands-on session about bus safety. He reviewed the importance of following bus rules, staying seated, and listening to the driver. Students practiced how to safely enter and exit the bus, and they learned what to do in case of an emergency. These lessons help ensure that every bus ride is a safe one.

Pedestrian and Bike Safety with Mrs. Myers
This week, Mrs. Myers continued the focus on safety by teaching students about pedestrian and bike safety. The lesson included how to cross the street responsibly, the importance of wearing helmets when biking, and how to stay alert near traffic. Students also discussed ways to make themselves visible to drivers, especially in the mornings and afternoons when school traffic is busiest.

Committed to Safe Travels
By learning and practicing these skills, our students are now better prepared to travel safely to and from school each day. We are grateful to Mr. Roux and Mrs. Myers for leading these important sessions and for reminding our students that safety starts with good habits.
