Parents/Guardians,
The Ada-Borup-West technology committee approved purchasing 150 Chromebooks with a four year warranty that will cover accidental damage on the devices. The cost for students who wish to participate will be $25. This will include a brand new device, a protective case, and the accidental damage protection. During the 2021-2022 school year our tech department repaired approximately 75 devices due to broken screens, track pads, and keyboards. The MINIMUM charge for these repairs were $40 so the accidental protection will be beneficial to many.
THESE DEVICES WILL BE ASSIGNED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS! This also does NOT include the $20 yearly usage fee. Both of these fees can be paid for in the ABW High School office. If you have any questions, please contact me at emilyl@ada.k12.mn.us.
