A big "THANK YOU" to Dena Bishop from Copper Cafe Baked Goods for dropping of some great baked goods today for our staff. I wish I would have taken a picture before they were all gone, but they were SO GOOD that they didn't last long.

This post is from one of our wonderful teachers, Mrs. Larson, for our students and families as we start 8 days of distance learning. Dear parents of elementary school children, I know you all are stressed and anxious, we are also. When you wake up in the morning keep your school day routine as much as possible. However, add an extra dose of positivity and encouragement. Your children are strong, flexible, intelligent and resilient. Give them the chance to find success. They need you to believe in them and believe that this can work. We are in this together.

Hello Elementary Families! We want to make sure that our parents and guardians take the time to talk with their children about safe routes to school. Due to construction this year, we have new challenges with our pathways. Please take a look at the attached map for the most up-to-date information. The bike rack is now located on the south-side of the building. Bike riding is not allowed on school property by students and they must be walked on the sidewalk adjacent to the bus lane. This is to ensure the safety of all of our students. https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1zB0gI47jiRWODDJKKYTtJpqprV62L9EhU6P3eTPTUaY/edit?usp=sharing

As we prepare for our first day of school tomorrow, we would like to share a few reminders: Parent drop off will be in the north parking lot. There will be a one-way, drop-off lane. Only students and staff will be allowed in the building. If your child is riding bike to school, please visit with them about a safe path to school. Bike racks are located on the south-side of the school by the bus lanes. We will have additional staff outside to aid students in finding their way to breakfast or their classrooms. If your child is not riding the bus, please don’t drop them off until 8:05am if at all possible. Preschool’s first day is Monday, September 21st. We are really excited to see all of our students. Here’s to a great start to the school year!
