At Ada-Borup-West Elementary, we love finding ways to get our students excited about READING! One way we do that is through our reading incentive program, where students earn prizes as they reach different reading goals throughout the year.
📖 How does it work?
Our K–2 students read at home and log their reading time, while our students in grades 3–5 read and test at school to earn points. As students reach different milestones, they get to celebrate their hard work with a prize!
And that’s where YOU can help! ❤️
We are looking for local businesses and community members who would like to partner with us. There are lots of ways to help:
🍦 Donate certificates for a free ice cream cone, treat, pop, or other small item from your business
🎁 Donate items we can add to our student prize bin
💵 Make a monetary donation that we can use to purchase prizes
💡 Have another fun idea? We are open to it!
We would LOVE to involve businesses and organizations from all of the communities that make up our district — Ada, Borup, Hendrum, Halstad, and beyond!
No donation is too small. A simple certificate for a free treat can be a pretty exciting reward when you're an elementary student who has worked hard to reach a reading goal! 📚🌟
