We are grateful to announce that the Norman County Soil & Water Conservation District received a grant to provide every Norman County student with a free tree seedling! Students will be receiving one of three oak varieties, which provide food/fodder for wildlife species: bur oak, swamp white oak, & red oak. Directions for planting and the first year of care are included with the seedlings. Seedlings will be distributed on Tuesday, May 12th.
Thank you to the Soil & Water Conservation District, Wild Rice Conservation Club, and Living Lands & Waters- Million Trees Project for this generous gift to our students and community. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hutch taught our students how clouds are formed, explained the science behind tornadoes, and helped them understand how to stay safe during severe weather. Our 4th graders were engaged, curious, and full of thoughtful questions the entire time!
Hutch, thank you for inspiring our students and sparking their excitement about weather and science. We are so grateful you took the time to share your expertise with us! 🌪️☁️

Today we want to send a BIG thank you to our amazing bus drivers!
Our drivers do so much more than get students from point A to point B — they greet our kids each morning, keep them safe on the road, and help start and end every school day with care and consistency.
We appreciate your patience, your kindness, and the important work you do for our students and families every single day.
👏 THANK YOU, ABW Bus Drivers! 👏
